Poster for our film - Dani

  •  This is my first time at using photoshop. I tried to create a style in which the audience is interested to see what the film is about although the poster does not give much away.
  • I have used a picture of the house as our film is based at this location. I thought it would good to take the picture of Curtis looking into the house through the blinds as we can clearly see there is blinds at the front windows. This creates a sense of wonder as we do not know excatly what window he is looking through and it seems as if he is up to mischeif.
  • I decided to use the tagline of ' The Unexpected' because our film starts off being intense and makes out as if someone is burgularing the house however we find out at the end of the film that it is just the male charater has lost his keys and the female charater has lost her wedding ring.
  • As i have seen in other film posters, i have put the relsease date of the film under the billing blocks. I feel this is important as the purpose of the film poster is to get the audience to go and watch the film therefore they must know the release date.
  • To make our film look special i have used BBC films, warner bros and white little lies signs to show who the movie is made by and who has recommended it.

  1. Good effort. You now have to get all of your draft posters together and decide on the one to take forward. Sam and Curtis I notice are yet to post what they have done. You will need to assign roles for the poster and review 2 on each I would suggest but you have to agree on the image to use on the poster and the review as there needs to be a house style for the portfolio
